The term “Christian community transformation” (CCT) is used to describe the process of change that happens within a community when the Gospel is preached and people respond in faith. It is a holistic approach to evangelism and discipleship that seeks to transform every aspect of a community – from the individual to the family, from the church to the government.

The fourth benefit of CCT is that it encourages Christians to be involved in their community. As Christians are transformed by the Gospel, they begin to see their community with new eyes. They realize that they have a responsibility to love and serve their neighbors. As they get involved in community projects, they begin to see the needs of those around them and how the Gospel can meet those needs.

The seventh benefit of CCT is that it fosters racial reconciliation. As people are transformed by the Gospel, they begin to see people of all races as equals. They begin to work together for the good of the community. As racial barriers are broken down, the community becomes more united and stronger.
